Hey guys,

I have windows vista and my poktertracker wouldn't work with the postgresql.

So I deleted it, ran the command line and did the delete /user etc. thing.

Now I hoped pokertracker would be able to download it again, but it just tells me, there's no database and tries to create one, which leads to an error.

How do I get Poktertracker to relize, it needs to download it for me?

Cheers,

KingKas

I had a similar problem with PT4 but I eventually just gave up and downloaded and installed it myself from there on it has been running perfectly

Haha, nice thanks!

It helped. I had to do 3 steps to make it work.

#1. Deinstall postgresql (use the guides, which the cmd delete user etc.)

#2. Reinstall 8.4 postgresql

#3. Run PT4 installer (i did not deinstall PT4, just ran it again)

This is usually due to a PostgreSQL misconfiguration, the quick and easy solution is to reinstall - as you have done already. Happy to hear you had no problems!
