villain is 56/22 over 50hands, 15% 3bet over this small sample

reads: so far he has bluff donked 1/2pot twice otf in iso'd pots

flop: i elected to call as i thought my hand was too weak to shove, and i found it difficuilt to define his limp raise range, even though it was likely he was weak

turn: i think i should be bet/folding here - to protect my hand?

SB: $50 (100 bb)
BB: $54.54 (109.1 bb)
MP: $54.89 (109.8 bb)
CO: $56.66 (113.3 bb)
Hero (BTN): $88.77 (177.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with K♥ 8♠ Q♥ A♣
MP calls $0.50, CO folds, Hero raises to $2.25, 2 folds, MP raises to $5, Hero calls $2.75

Flop: ($10.75) K♠ 2♠ J♥ (2 players)
MP bets $5.37, Hero calls $5.37

Turn: ($21.49) 6♣ (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets?

i think u have the best hand here very often.

villian just klicking buttons pre and post. This isnt a strong hand in my mind. pre he would not do this lets say with strong AA or strong rundowns. it´s just a random hand in my mind. (because of his l/minreraise pre)

post: he would bet bigger for sure if he had a hand and i was thinking about raising otf because i want to protect and get value. on the other hand calling is find but i would definitly bet ott and decide from their. dont see many hands that beats u when villian took this line

i don't really like raising the flop, he could have some hands which have good equity (draws), better hands etc. which he might 3bet and then you are a bit lost.
i'd rather call and see a turn, you can often take the pot away from him there (or have him make a bad c/c with drawing hands which he doesn't want to bet and get raised)

edit: to phrase it another way: you have position. i would use that and play multi street poker instead of finishing the hand on one street without really knowing where you are

Hi,

wierd line by villain indeed. I would just bet stackoff ott, something big to get value from his draws. You can just pot it.

Regards,

Skod
