Hello all, this is my third attempt at blogging and probably not my last , a little info about me, been playing poker for several years now .
I started playing poker at poker.com which was part of merge network way ack when dinosaurs roamed the planet but don't think its no longer running? , Play mostly at pokerstars now, dabbled in sttsng,nl2zoom and Mtts but enjoy Mtts the most mainly coz that chance of hitting the One Time Big cash would be awesome ...As for my title, well that's what im waiting for is my One Time Big Cash.
I'm a casual poker player for sure as I work fulltime 6 days a week playing poker in my spare time, so there wont be a huge volume of poker played..

So with that said this is my Micro Stakes Mtt diary/blog ...
I will be keeping an updated log of mtt cashes ..
Hands that I had trouble with..
Goals for week/month/year..
Stakes im involved in..
And other interesting things I feel like sharing..

So enjoy this song that always gets me pumped and ready to crush at the tables enjoy _cool:

This is quite early right? vs unknown I would usually play small ball and flatcall it. As played on that kind of flop texture and 3way pot, chback is really the only option.

Hey xdowntimex,

I would make the same play myself although as it's still deep, I would probably 3Bet to 7 or 7.5BBs.

Like the CBet although I probably would have bet around 12 BBs and folding to aggression is perfectly OK

Keep making good decisions

Laz

Well this is ofc a good spot to squeeze since CO will call a lot with worst hands but calling is fine too. I really would not like 7-7,5bb 3bet because we are squeezing here.

Hey xdowntimex,

As you have seen the first two respondents have differing opinions so why not post it here.

These hands will often be assessed by Asaban, who is one of our most respected MTT coaches.

Regards

Laz

P.S. The fact people have differing opinions about playing this hand make it a prime candidate for evaluation.

If I 3bet I make it pot size. I'd usually call here though. Tens are pretty but on that flop your very unlikely to still be ahead. This early I'm happier to call pre IP and go from there.

Leading out is totally fine OTF as played. I'd make it slightly less than half but there isn't much of a muchness. B/F is good too. You have to give him credit for being ahead of you

EDIT: Please PM me your Skype address so we can sort out a few things for our upcoming stake :)

Hey xdowntimex,

Don't panic. Most skype contact is done through IM and doesn't involve sound or video unless you want to be sweated.

Cheers
