SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 3♥ 3♣ J♥ J♣

fold, MP raises to 3.5 BB, Hero raises to 12 BB, fold, fold, fold, MP calls 8.5 BB

Flop: (25.5 BB, 2 players) 4♥ 6♦ 2♥
MP checks, Hero bets 13 BB, MP calls 13 BB

Turn: (51.5 BB, 2 players) K♠
MP checks, Hero ?

I'm not sure if this is a bet or not. I think the only hands that I get to fold are hands which I beat anyway. Plus I have a bit of equity I get to realize by checking. Getting c/r would be terrible but highly unlikely though.

River: (51.5 BB, 2 players) 8♦
MP bets 42 BB, fold
I think the 8 hits a lot of his rundowns so it was a rather easy fold imo. I'm not sure what to do if the river was the 8 . I'd bluffcatch blank rivers probably, is this ok?

Don't hate the check behind on the turn. If you hit your flush on the river of course your gonna call.
But you see the problem with checking the turn behind. First, you're giving away a free card and second you open yourself up to getting bluffed on the river. I mean were you're considering folding the river when you make your hand so you're basically giving up any card.
I would probably just pot the turn as I would with my aces. Makes life easier :)

pot turn too.

use your blockers (this isn't the best spot to use it because don't think you've got many 35xx in your 3betting range from BB).

If you get moved in, you've still some equity if your FD is clean.
And some FE vs lots of hands you're happy to make him fold (low DP, just FD who's not got odds, wraps 578x, oesd+p etc...)

Hi,

i would not pot turn but would definetly bet it. Very good scare card and we protect vs his rundowns and better fd's.

Also bet 20 otf. Get that that FE here as it's tough for you to play future streets if you don't hit.

Regards,

Skod
