Playing without hud, so no villain stats sorry

Preflop I decide to call with QJs, considered 3betting because mp1 min-raise open from that position is kind of rare on this limit, but then thought I would be better of trying to create a multi-way, maybe calling a squeeze

size of squeeze is kind of large, don't really like my odds and the spr but decide to call, really not sure whether this is ok, not in great shape against his range, but counting on implieds here mostly

on the flop i decide to check -call, as i don't want him to fold his underpairs that are def in his range, i have shown lost off weakness in this hand so far, so i expect him to cbet almost his entire range here
donking the flop myself would have just made him play back with his better hands or hands with lots of equity(flushdraws and overs)
when the turn gives me a ton of outs, i decide to almost shove, Thinking i'm not repping much here (Jts or 88 maybe); i could still make some better hands fold (KQ, AQ even sometimes maybe) and worse to call ( AdKd, Adxd maybe if they have gutshots with it ...
checking would give him the oppurtunity of getting free card with flushdraws, and it would be difficult getting value from worse on river( can i really expect villain to triple barrel with air or herocall me with jj ? )

I realise I have taken a pretty weird line here, so totally unsure about this hand :)

Hi vandeuren

Preflop: given his large squeeze I can't see why you would put 11 big blinds with such an easily dominated hand.

This is an easy fold here.

Postflop: You won't get better hands to fold there. Why would strong TP fold given your weak lines?

You may get called by worse but when he continues (and I expect him to continue a lot) he will have you beat.

You have a ton of outs though so you aren't doing terrible equity wise (about 35% I'd say).

Thank you for your reply, I agree with preflop part, just wanted to know whether my postflop reasoning still might make some sense so,I tried to do some calculations on this

I'm risking 7,85 $ in order to win (6,55 + 2* 7,85 =21,71) so i need about 35% equity if i get called is this correct?

equilab gives me 31% equity against worst case senario calling range of QQ+, 99, 88, 44, JTs,

if I include a only a few "worse hands" like AdKd or AsKs, KdJd, KsJs
i get a range of QQ+,99-88,44,KQs,JTs,AdKd,AsKs,AdJd,KdJd,KsJs,AQo
and 35,7% equity

so am i wrong to assume that villain will call this wide or even wider and make this a +ev play?

also went for shoving because there would be many action killers on river, or even A or K which would it make difficult to get value from worse or beat my hand

Preflop pot size was 1.85 and you need 1.1 to call.

Pot odds was 1.68:1, break even is 37.3% and you hv QJs.

What is your expectation of villain's possible holdings?

Because of mp's minraise and weakness i showed by calling i suspected villain to have a range of 22+, AJs+, AQo+, A2s-A5s+, JTs+
so this would give me 41% equity

I could of course be wrong here and give villain a stronger range of 77+, AKo+, AKs+, in that case my equity drops to 37%

if villain only does this with QQ+,AKs,AKo my equity drops even further to 29%

thx for the interest btw, if you have something to add for rest of the hand please be my guest

Apologies, correction.

Pot odds = (1.85+1.1) to 1.1
Pot odds = ~2.68 to 1

Break even % = 100/(pot odds added together)
Break even % = ~27.1%

no problem, I assumed I needed 37% equity, and I do seem to get that against 77+, AKo+, AKs+ range

Should i therefor assume that I was correct in calling his preflop squeeze???
Guess it's not only based on direct pot odds here, but should consider like reverse implied odds, positional disadvantage, spr, ... so I'll be just sticking with MR Bogdans advice here and just fold pre in future instead of making this kind of ridiculous plays, sometimes I just want to take some weird lines and be creative in my own way, 95% of hands I do try and play a solid game

and villain was playing on a smartphone, I'm often more willing to play more pots with them, even out of position in 3bet pot
