Here i have two hands which i feel which i played badly yesterday. The 1st one is from the Sunday Storm and the 2nd is from the Micromillions Main Event.

Hand 1

PokerStars - $10+$1|150/300 Ante 30 NL - Holdem - 8 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: 15.77 BB (VPIP: 0.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 7)
UTG: 14.52 BB (VPIP: 7.14, PFR: 7.14, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 14)
UTG+1: 33.63 BB (VPIP: 40.00, PFR: 11.11, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 10)
MP: 18.87 BB (VPIP: 50.00, PFR: 50.00, 3Bet Preflop: -, Hands: 2)
Hero (MP+1): 22.95 BB
CO: 93.51 BB (VPIP: 31.25, PFR: 31.25, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 16)
BTN: 196.51 BB (VPIP: 50.00, PFR: 18.75, 3Bet Preflop: 11.11, Hands: 16)
SB: 18.23 BB (VPIP: 20.00, PFR: 20.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 5)

8 players post ante of 0.1 BB, SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 2.3 BB) Hero has T♣ T♦

fold, fold, MP raises to 2 BB, Hero calls 2 BB, fold, BTN calls 2 BB, fold, fold

Flop: (8.3 BB, 3 players) 6♠ 9♥ 3♠
MP checks, Hero bets 5 BB, BTN raises to 20 BB, fold, Hero raises to 20.85 BB and is all-in, BTN calls 0.85 BB

Turn: (49.99 BB, 2 players) Q♣

River: (49.99 BB, 2 players) 5♥

Hero shows T♣ T♦ (One Pair, Tens) (Pre 82%, Flop 27%, Turn 18%)
BTN shows 6♦ 3♦ (Two Pair, Sixes and Threes) (Pre 18%, Flop 73%, Turn 82%)
BTN wins 49.99 BB

Looking Back on this hand I feel that my big mistake was not shoving my 22 BB over the initial raiser preflop. I'm still really new to MTTs and following Asabans beginner MTT Strategy I usually just stick to 3betting all in with 15-25BBs when the initial raise is made from At least Cutoff.

Also did I play post flop correctly or what could i have done better.

CO: 104.73 BB (VPIP: 20.00, PFR: 17.50, 3Bet Preflop: 8.33, Hands: 40)

Pre Flop: (pot: 2.58 BB) Hero has A♦ A♠

fold, fold, MP raises to 2 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 5 BB, fold, MP calls 3 BB

Flop: (12.08 BB, 2 players) 2♥ 8♥ 2♠
Hero bets 6 BB, MP raises to 11.3 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 5.3 BB

Turn: (34.69 BB, 2 players) 4♣

River: (34.69 BB, 2 players) T♥

MP shows Q♥ K♥ (Flush, King High) (Pre 18%, Flop 30%, Turn 18%)
MP wins 34.69 BB

With this hand I decided to only 3 Bet 2.5x his initial raise because I saw that he was on a stack of only about 15BBs and I didn't want to scare him off by re raising to high. Is this a bad way of thinking and what would you guys have done.

Also after reviewing the hand am I correct in realising that I did not bet the flop high enough and by only betting half pot I gave him the pot odds required to go all in. Or do you think that in this scenario it was irrelevant and he would of re raised all in regardless of my bet?

Thanks Guys

Tough to say a range here because we only have 2 hands on MP

Relatively tight maybe something like 99+, AKo, + AQs

Hey sikwithit!

hand1:

10s is a 3b/c for me here preflop. I don't like flat as you often play 3-4 way after you call here! against really really bad opponents even jam for 22 is ok. But 3b/c is imo more the valueplay here!

please post hand 2+3 in another thread!

its 1hand/thread policy!

Greets,
Tiltberger
