Villain is playing with stats 25/16/14.3, fold to 3bet 0/1 and OR from the button 33% over 52 hands (I think though that I had a smaller sample size the moment the hand was played).

Party, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

Hero (SB): $11.09 (110.9 bb)
BB: $24.77 (247.7 bb)
UTG: $4.92 (49.2 bb)
MP: $7.97 (79.7 bb)
CO: $21.98 (219.8 bb)
BTN: $13.87 (138.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J 9
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.30, Hero raises to $0.90, BB folds, BTN calls $0.60

Flop: ($1.90) 6 T 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.20, BTN calls $1.20

Turn: ($4.30) K (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $2, Hero folds

Results:

Spoiler

$4.30 pot ($0.21 rake)
Final Board: 6 T 2 K
Hero mucked J 9 and lost (-$2.10 net)
BTN mucked and won $4.09 ($1.99 net)

Hi acetbfish

Preflop: 3-betting this small OOP and with hands like this is asking for trouble. Villain will rarely fold the better hands and you will play OOP with little info.

Postflop: Given the board texture just check/fold the flop but if you bet why ck/fold the turn? That's a guaranteed way to lose a lot of $. Bet the scare card turn and put pressure on his wide range.

preflop: should hv called instead.

flop doesnt look like a hit for preflop raiser.

your action represents high pp, you hit a gut shot draw so u shd semi bluff to put pressure on villain

another way to play this postflop is to check and hope for free turn. and lead out on the K as u hit the gut shot draw (drawing inference fr your preflop action)
