JJ at final table

Hi! Its final table of 180 man tourney.
Our opponent looks very agressive so far:
41vpip/33pfr (40% ep/100% (4/4)mp, 30% late position), but 3 bets only frm SB (2/3 situations) till this hand. We has only 39 hands on him

Flop: (t59453) T :heart: 8 :diamond: 4 :heart: (2 players - 1 is all in)

Turn: (t59453) K :club: (2 players - 1 is all in)

River: (t59453) 8 :spade: (2 players - 1 is all in)

I use ICMIZER for this hand and thats is results:
1.If this opponent only 3 bet value range. and never fold to our 4 bet shove:
-vs 3% (AK+ JJ+) our 4 bet has -1.69%
-vs 5% (AQ+ 99+) our 4 bet has -0.17%
so we need for 3bet/call like 88+ AJs+ and our 4 bet shove with JJ will +ev
2.If this opponent has polarized 3 bet range, which include value hands and hands with blockers to our 4 bet range (like QT,KQ) and will call only value range:
- he 3 bet AK+ JJ+ (40 combos) on value, and QT-KQ (32 combos) for bluff. and ofc call with AK+ JJ+ than our 4 bet shove with JJ will break even (-0.02%)

As a result. what is correct play with JJ in this hand? is call vs 3 bet is an option? And what is correct range, that we should 4 bet here? Looks like KK+ is always +ev. but JJ-QQ is hard desicion..

Given the sizes of villains stack and 3bet it strongly smells like a suck-in 3bet rather than a steal attempt. So i would put him on a very narrow top range like QQ+, AK. But our hand is too strong to fold and we get good odds. So i would probably call anyway and reevaluate after the flop.

Your oppenent is overall aggressive... you set up a fairly tight valuerange and a bluffrange for your villian , and were BE against that range with JJ ..... But how can we discharge 77-1010 ??
Its resonable to add these PP in villians range as he is aggressive and a hand like 88 is not the type of hand villian will call and play postflop.... and hes not folding 77 + imo. Also hands like AQ and even AJs could be in villians range....
This makes it a clear push, and i think you played it very well.... cant se myself flatting a 3 bet and play OOP here.....it just sucks when any QKA hits....

Hey Marina!

Its a tough spot imo. Most players don't have a really light range here againts chipleader -> utg+1 + 20bb short!

jj is probably a hand where I want to reshove against an opponent who can bluff3bet a few combos here! or is going broke with 88+ as well! and sometimes ajs, aq!

But why should he 3bet those hands... most of the times hands like ajs, aq, 88-10s can still flat here or jam directly!

If he knows you can still fold + has tight players behind him the spot could be okish (but I don't really like it + normally players are too tight in it)

I would probably fold a few worse combos and shove jj if you have reads that he 3bets lose enough like I said!

If you're not sure about his range, a flat is never wrong for the odds!
