On flop with 2 opponents I decided to check behind.

On turn, as no one showed any strength I thought I had good enough odds (approximately 7.5:1) with a gotshot and an over card so I called the 2$.

When they both checked the river, was it right to bet again?

Was there another way to play the hand?

why should he fold preflop? please look at the chart again :)

With less than half potsize left --> push flop

Sometimes you still have the best hand, sometimes they fold better hands because of the King, and if they call you still have 1 or 2 OCs and 2 backdoor draws
