PokerStars - $1 PL Hi (6 max) - Omaha Hi - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 89.05 BB (VPIP: 63.64, PFR: 50.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 22)
SB: 191.54 BB (VPIP: 65.22, PFR: 13.04, 3Bet Preflop: 8.33, Hands: 24)
Hero (BB): 126.18 BB
UTG: 485.59 BB (VPIP: 46.52, PFR: 12.09, 3Bet Preflop: 1.57, Hands: 276)
MP: 100 BB (VPIP: 28.85, PFR: 22.20, 3Bet Preflop: 9.88, Hands: 3,447)
CO: 100 BB (VPIP: 24.37, PFR: 17.07, 3Bet Preflop: 7.38, Hands: 1,980) QuasiAlex

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 6♠ A♣ K♦ K♠

UTG calls 1 BB, fold, CO raises to 4.5 BB, fold, fold, Hero raises to 15 BB, UTG calls 14 BB, CO calls 10.5 BB

With the A I decided to 3bet for value, too thin?

Flop: (45.5 BB, 3 players) Q♣ 2♦ 5♦
Hero checks, UTG bets 22 BB, fold, Hero raises to 109.45 BB
I didn't want to cbet because I'd get into very bad situations frequently. Plan was to see what happens, if UTG bets and CO jams I just fold, if UTG checks and CO bets I'd consider calling for an equity shift, but can also see myself jamming or folding even, kind of a tough spot.
Once UTG bets this small I put him on a draw quite often and figured I have the equity to jam. Not sure if it's too spewy, thoughts?

im never 3betting this hand pre w/o nutsuit in a potential 3way pot.

Not sure about your line, his small sizing can mean different things. and vs most draws its kinda flippy / bad for your hand.

What about x/c and evaluate turns? Fish play Turns rather honest in my experience. He will take a free card with his weak draws and SDV and pot his strong draws and Q5+

I think you mention the problem of c/c yourself - he will check all his draws on the turn and gets to see two cards to make his draws. If we were IP and could bet turns once he checks I'd like it a lot more.

Yeah i know, i am also not a big fan of x/c, but vs his small sizing we dont need to realize much of our equity for our flop call to be profitable.

i would not 3b here in bb. we are often getting called oop by the 2 others. as played i think its okay vs his small bet

Hi,

yeah 3b is bad. Why is it bad? Because you flop this postflop, and you either make a tight fold or a marginal stackoff here. Best case scenario you are slightly behind here when the money goes in.

The bet from UTG actually looks strong to me, but you prob have to gii on this board even deeper. But marginality all around

Regards,

Skod
