bb is 53/20 40% fold to steal, only 50 hands
60% fold to flop cbet, no sample size for turn or river

decided not to cbet the turn as i thought i didnt have much FE there

river - he insta bet near pot, so im not sure if to bluffcatch or not in this spot ?

i thought it was possible he was vbetting worse or bluffing

SB: $50 (100 bb)
BB: $73.33 (146.7 bb)
CO: $116.71 (233.4 bb)
Hero (BTN): $50 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 4♦ 2♣ A♣ J♥
CO folds, Hero raises to $1.25, SB folds, BB calls $0.75

Flop: ($2.75) K♥ 3♠ 6♦ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2, BB calls $2

Turn: ($6.75) K♦ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

River: ($6.75) 5♣ (2 players)
BB bets $5, HERO???

I would just call the river. He could be valuebetting trips or maybe even bluffing. He seems to be a quite loose player, but i still don't believe that he would have K3xx/K6xx/K5xx/33xx/66xx too often, but he does have a lots of other Kxxx in his range. Also some 7654 is possible but i think we have the best hand often enough here.

I would actually cBet a little bit less on the flop. I think 1,50-1,75 is enough because the board is so dry.

Why would you bet turn ? I thought he'd have a lot of kxxx after calling the flop coz there weren't many draws and he didn't look that stationy?

With 60% fold to cbet I also wonder why you want to bet the turn Skod.

On the river I thought your question was whether you can raise for value (which is what I'm asking myself here). No way to ever fold this, wtf.

Raise for value? That a joke?

no it seems like an easy call but when i saw the hand i thought you'd ask whether it's call or raise as folding is absurd

Hi,

guys he is playing with 50vpip. His calling range otf is waaaay wider than just Kxxx. This type of player doesn't fold any pocket higher than a 6, and 6xxx and oesd or pair + gutter type hands. Sure he will have Kxxx often, but imho not often enough for a bet of 4$ not be profitable.

Regards,

Skod

I actually tank folded, but I agree with you that it was a bad fold.

Btw do would give any weight to his timing/sizing ?
