I love Texas Dolly, but I'm not partial to T2 suited or not. In fact I'm not really partial to any particular hand. I've liked JT, Pocket 9's-6's, was a fan of Ducks for awhile and more recently I'm more likely to play T8 because its a close friends fav hand but honestly, its been my experience that fav hands don't hold up over the long play.
As for my live play right now, I've been reduced to a few local home games in and around San Antonio (where I live) but even those have been a bit rare over the last year or so. I found those games by going to a local freeroll outside of San Antonio, down around China Grove. I've kept going to the freeroll because I like the people and its a decent place to make connections for other games.
I've hosted several games in the past. Most times I'd bring my table(s) over to a friends house and we'd co-host. However, lately my friend and I had a parting of the ways so I'm looking forward to hosting some of my own again in the near future.
Past that, I'm going to make my first trip in about 3-4 years to finally play at a casino again at the end of this month. Taking a vacation to Florida and I'll be stopping off at L'auberge in Lake Charles, Louisiana for about 3 days before going to see some friends in Florida. Then on the way back I'll hit L'auberge again for another run at the tables. Last time I was there, I didn't have a good run but I had fun and that helped make up some of the difference....
