Hero hits set on the flop, but on the worst texture imaginable. Goal is to keep the pot small and see the river or else protect the hand against single card draws with a flop b/f. Decide to check and keep the pot small The 5 on the turn also completes a straight draw of A4. My set is starting to become pretty weak. Think calling the river and x/f the river is fine here. Folding the turn seems to soon.
While doing this analysis I think x/r the flop would have been the cheepest/best way of finding out what I could be up against. Any opinions?
