Hello world,
I am just a another dude with a full time job thinking he has what it takes to "make it" in the world of professional poker to quit his job. I will be playing cash games starting at NL2.

Now the question is:
What variant should I play? There are 4 posibilities: Full Ring regular, Full Ring zoom, SH regular and SH zoom.

Nowdays there is more players in SH tables and Zoom tables than in FR so I would recommend those myself.

IMO, it's just as easy (at small stakes) to find action at FR tables then SH tables. Also in my experience there is more regs and agressive play at SH tables.

But GL whatever you pick! i'm playing NL10 FR Zoom atm, hit me up for any advice ^

I don`t totally agree what comes to finding more action from FR tables but I could be wrong. I`m not CG expert. Game is ofc more aggressive at SH tables so FR tables could be better place to learn basics.

1. Right now my goal is to keep playing poker everyday. I'm trying to get into the habit.

Based on the replies here, I went ahead and played No Limit SH Zoom.
My starting BR was $116.98, I got this from playing turbo HUSNG last year (started at $50).
I think lost a few buyins. But I'm not gonna check the cashier.

I put in another 2hour grind session tonight.
I think I'm down due to KK getting cracked twice, and AA cracked once.

Just finished my session.
I decided to play regular tables tonight because I have no HUD.
I think my disadvantage (playing w/o HUD) is lesser at regular tables than at zoom tables.

I think I'm up this time despite AA getting cracked once.

Another night grind finished. This one lasted longer than I thought due to me being down and needing to grind it all back.

Finished a session last night and went straight to bed. Lots of ups and downs.

So, I looked at my cashier today.
I'm down to about ~ $61 from $116.
All this playing NL2.

You know how people used to say "dude, you've got leaks."
To which I say "I don't have leaks, I have a giant fucking sinkhole."

Whoa you're definitely doing something wrong or maybe a lot of things wrong, get your HUD working ASAP but if you still want to play without it I recommend regular tables not zoom with plenty of note taking and generally practicing a tight game. As you're going to be silver soon I suggest having a look here
---->w34z3l's 6max walkthrough - (microstakes edition)

Also watch and learn from his videos most of them are for silver members, I also recommend watching videos from BogdanPS his thought process helped me alot. Good luck!
