I have been recommended to have W$WSF and WTSD on my hud and so I have. I have also learnt that a decent player has about 46% and 27% respectively.
I seldom look at these statistics though and the reason is simply that I can’t figure out how to change my game standard gameplans based on them.
W$WSF
My thoughts goes like this: What does it really tell me that a player has for instance a low W$WSF?
It indicates that he’s a bad player of course, but bad in what way? It could be because he’s a calls to much with weak hands. But it could also be because he folds to much with decent hands. Or bluff to much with no hand at all and get called by all of the Stations out there. Since the W$WSF doesn’t tell me which one it is, I can’t figure out how to change my play and exploit it. Help wanted please!
WTSD
My thoughts goes like this: What does it really tell me that a player has for instance a low WTSD? It could be because he’s a real nit postflop that could be scared of all hands but monsters before the river. But it could also be because he’s a tough player postflop that raises, checkraises or simply bet so big and frequent that that only a handful of the hands dare to stand up to him. These players appears on the opposite ends of a spectrum and consequently the low WTSD stat leads me nowhere.
So how do you guys use this statistic to guide your action OTT?
Could you recommend any training Videos, Posts or articles on the forum that covers these statistics?
