The entire hand is played in terms of implied odds against CO. CO is a loose-passive player who plays basically any-two.
Previous reads:
1) calls with J :spade:5
on 9 :diamond:3 :club:5 :heart:8 :club:T
all three streets (river bet was $1.71 in that hand, total pot around $6)
+ other similar hands where CO either pays out or hits against a better hand.
Hero's reasoning behind this play:
1) Preflop: despite being OOP, we have CO in play who might pay off well.
2) Flop: Hero is calling expecting CO to call as well.
3) Turn: Hero is tanking but calling, expecting CO to call and pay with many hit hands (pair/two pair) etc versus hero potential hit on river.
4) Hero ships river because he expects CO to call down with worse.
Any thoughts?
