50nl 87s trips turned into boat

Preflop: it's his first 3-bet in 45 hands, why are we defending light here?

Postflop: First , I wouldn't worry about inducing many bluffs because I don't expect many hands that can bluff in his range (minus some draws).

Second, the question really is: can we get 2 more streets of value from his overpairs or not? Given the board and what our range can be in this spot I think we can. I don't think a 50nl player will be too keen on folding JJ+ here.

We rep some 7x, very little if any 9x and then bluffs/semibluffs.

So back to you now, what would you do if you were him and called flop with an overpair?

Only hands he would bluff with would be busted draws. Rest would be "value" bets i guess from JJ+. He might just check though.
I do agree that some people are not folding overpairs here. He might even put us on a FD.
If i were bluffing here i would really like small sizing here. 33% pot. I should take similar sizing also with the boat, like here. It might even induce bluff raise from crazy opponent
That sizing would leave very small SPR to the river, and villain might feel like he is committed, especially when FD misses.
Do you like that line? You were suggesting a jam, which would be a slight overbet. I think vs some villains it works, especially vs leveling opponents.

Good to know about that system. Is that how it works? Thread gets evaluated (again) and you lose one credit?

I'm not sure if you actually lose 1 "credit" if you do but it makes sure that we get to see that you would like us to come back and read your response (and of course leave a reply).

As far as the hand goes I think that either a small bet or a shove can work here.

A shove makes no sense from our POV so you will get looked up lighter. A small bet can induce too so vs skittish players I prefer that (like guys that don't like making hero calls).
