Villain is reg, 6-handed stats 26/21/SB 3bet vs steal 9%/SB call vs steal 3%/Agg flop 29/Agg turn 56/Agg river 75/hands 837. I was quite confused here. Villain is repping so thin. He would 3bet lot of good Kx hands pre so either slowplayed set or some weird bluff would make sense.

I like the c/b on the flop a lot! For one thing, it's a flop we don't get much action from as it's very dry, so he folds most of his non-trap hands on the flop and we can't go 3 streets of value anyway.

So flop is nice as played, bet the turn and then the river comes :P

His line doesn't make much sense for a very strong hand, however, he should almost never has a bluff given how the hand went. You c/b on this dry boards usually means u have SD value(he should be less inclined to bluff), him c/c-ing turn usually means he has some SD value as well, so why would he try to turn it into a bluff and on top-that's such an awful card on the riv to bluff at.

He is so, so tight and he's playing from the SB, which narrows his range even more. Tbh, I don't mind the fold just because I find it quite unbelievable he's playing a bluff like that. On the other hand, his value range is narrowed strictrly towards just a few hands- AA/KK/KQ-maybe and that's about it. I don't see how 3x is anywhere near his preflop range. I will prolly play it like you, but I will pay attention and imo you have to start making those calls here if he continues to take lines like that often. He can't have those 3 combos above all the time.

I have to say that I have witnessed few times some pretty weird hands from regs in situations where I have opened 7 or 6-handed and they have called from blinds. I don`t say that he would have some weak 3x hand in his range but some regs are ready to call with pretty weak hands from blinds in this games.

Now that I think about this again, he should not have A3 here almost ever but it`s possible too.
