Pre Flop: (pot: 400) Hero has K♦ 9♠

fold, fold, SB calls 100, Hero checks

SB bets 400, Hero calls 400

Turn: (1,300, 2 players) 2♠
SB bets 800, Hero ?

Flop bet was really big but folding seemed too weak so I called to re-evaluate on the turn. Don't want to stack off with this hand so I folded. Should I just give this up on the flop?

Usually I would raise to 500 preflop. Villains are going to fold preflop or to flop cbet very often in these spots.

Folding flop is not possible. Its BvB and we have pretty strong hand so I would be calling it down. Villain can be value betting some weaker made hands and can have lot of draws. Without some bet size reads folding will be too weak.
