I would usually choose cold 4-bet although call is also fine.
Against SB I`m fine playing for stacks against BU shove and especially if SB calls fold is better option.
If you call you keep in SB marginal 3-bet hands, but at the same time let BU also to see cheap flop. Also it doesn´t make your decision too much easier if you call and BU decides to 4-bet or shove. So direct 4-bet and then evaluation seems better option most of the times
