Hero ???
Over my 128 hand sample villain seems to be a very aggressive reg. He's playing 36/31/20% 3bet so far and seems aggro/barrely postflop as well. I don't have reads regarding his play in 3b pots except that he's not auto-cbetting everything (only cbet 2/5 so far in 3b pots).
Looking back, our hand might play better as a limp/call against a very aggro BB since I'm definitely not thrilled to play a 3b pot out of position.
On the flop, I'm wondering if I should just check/fold this? Feels pretty nitty with top2, but I can't see a good way to proceed. Our hand will be very hard to play on most turns, and I don't know if it's good enough to get in on the flop. I also think an aggro villain will play back a lot if we lead, since we rarely hit that flop hard.
Is there something I'm missing or should I just let him have it? Are there some reads/stats that make you strongly prefer a certain line? I guess we can ch/jam this if villain has a wide range and is cbetting at a very high %.
EDIT: I also think villain not cbetting a ton in 3b pots speaks in favor of ch/fold. If he bets, he probably has something, and the flop will check through kinda often and seeing a turn will usually make the hand easier to play.
