Villain very good aggro reg, lots of hands HU and 6max vs him, and aggressive dynamic between us

Préflop

seems me std, even if it's unfortunately rainbow

Flop

good flop with middle DP and nut oesd.

his 3bet range is far more large than AAxx obv, especially HU.

I'm ahead his range by far, and even if I face a hand > (AAxx, A9xx), I've still equity left.

Could have raise here, chose to call in position to let him barrel (he barrels tons really) on blancky turns and paired turns.
... not sure if it's the idea of the century, because by default 89x is a drawy flop, and smash his 3bet range to (middle/high rundowns that make wraps here).
But with position, and knowing that he will barrel on blanks, it seems me ok.

Turn

I think I made a terrible mistake by just calling.

Here, clearly I'm never folding here, as he's barrelling 100% of his range here (and have some equity left if he's got monster here).

So with that potsize, my plan would simply to shove here.

ingame I don't why i didn't. sort of slowplay to let him do shit on blanks rivers and paired rivers, let him put his 3barrel bluffing river.

But the board is far too drawy to do that.
each cards is drawy : "2" and "3" should be ok, but all others cards complete straights, and even K can sucks me river (AKxx, KKxx etc...)
Moreover, there're many draws here so I've got to protect, and with this potsize and no much stack left, he could feel commit with some draws (big wraps, combodraws etc...)

ye such an horrible call here. makes me sick

River

ye backdoor flushy river and he puts his stack left (almost 1PSB)

got the nut blocker in the hand.

he's not ultrapolarised here, with our dynamic he could be valuebetting lots of flushs, at least broadways flushes (moreover it's backdoor).

but got this nutblocker, thought that he could be trying to outplay me and my DP / Axxx with his airs / busted straight draws, on these scary river.

I mean, we've lot dynamic, and he knows I could often call one or two streets if I've an Axxx (AKxx/AQxx) or a DP.
He uses to barrel tons, and maybe can he think he can rep AAxx that is vbetting (a little thin here) to value against my DP / AKxx bluffcatchers (and make fold some pair+draws like 9TJx if he does'nt have any pair, QJKT-like)

maybe I'm leveling too much vs him, but saw at my hand, that nutblocker + the FD is being backdoor, and chose to call

Hi,

i think you played it fine. You could also raise otf with your hand, there are so many hands you dominate. Turn you can raise or call, not much you fear unless he hit the bdfd. River if he is agressive you can't fold i would say especially if you think he is capable of bluffing. I mean you need to be good 1 in 3 times here.

Regards,

Skod
