Top2 IP w ini, possible str8 on turn, c-bet?

These are sometimes difficult spots. Sample size isn't that huge but when he is 95/12 after 63 hands, i might just bet the turn also. Don't know if it's too thin but imo he can still call with many worse hands (worse 2-pairs/FD) and if he raises, you have only 4 outs to the nuts so it doesn't hurt to fold. He also doesn't look like aggressive enough to bluff the river so i would rather charge FDs right here than let the board possibly become even uglier.

bet bigger otf, bet turn, bet big otr You should bet differently according to the type of players. Vs a reg you can cbet 70%, but a fish will either call or fold and especially when you are not HU you need to protect your hand, so i would be like 45c on this flop, and go for 1/2 ott, and bet really big otr.

Turn is a must-bet and you should definitely wrap your head around why this is a must-bet, it's rather basic knowledge you definitely need to have.

Instead of holding the information back, can you explain to OP why it is a must-bet?

- We often have the best hand
- therefore we have a valuebet here
- we also protect against worse hands that can outdraw us
- if we get raised we have an easy fold
- we are not capped and won't get raised light
- when we check we are capped

There are probably further reasons but these came immeditately to my mind and are more than enough to make this a bet. I didn't explain why it's a bet initially as OP has to learn to think about a hand and come to these conclusions himself rather than have them served on a silver plate and more or less memorize them.

That is true, but if he doesn't get a feedback to his conclusions it can harm him. So saying "this is basic, I know it but won't tell you" isn't really a constructive way to discuss. After all, we all are here to learn. And there are many more than OP that are reading this and might not know why it's a basic bet. Of course no one besides coaches have the responsibility to teach anyone here. But the more we can support each other the more we all learn.

You can put the answer to spoilers or you can rephrase it to something like this: "This is a bet. Can you figure out the reasons for betting/not betting?". So instead of "closing the action" you throw the ball back to OP and other readers.
