NL5 AA in a tough spot

Hi! It would have been much easier if you showed the hand with holdem manager or something like that.
Anyways, If I were you ( I am maybe a nit), I would try to potcontroll instead of playing for stacks.
lets say you have AA, flop comes as you said T4T, you made a cbet and he called.
What kind of hands would call a cbet here? KK,QQ would have shown more agression preflop.. AT would have called, TJ,9Ts,8Ts... 44... many hands are only Calling here.. and some hands are still Calling to hit a set. 99+ are still Calling your cbet.
but, I still dont see a reason to bet the turn. at the turn, you are getting action of hands that beat you.
the way I play this is, as long as I am in position, I would checkbehind and get a freecard. If, he beats river, than it depends.. anyways, I see you are beat here you didnt need to show that he had pocket 44.. Thats how i see it

By the way it is still hard to put him on 44, AT,TJ,9T as he as an early position raiser.. But, I dont mind potcontroll, as you are getting card by hands that beat you only

I was playing the hand and I could not grab it and show it like they show it here.

Let me make something clear here. I was out of position. He did not raise. His action was after me. There was another raiser who folded to my 3bet. The guy with 44 called my 3 bet and the flop was a rainbow flop. I 3bet 10BB which he called after me. As his action was after me it was hard for me to just check the turn on a board of (T4T6). Now if you please enlighten me here with your thought process it would be really great. Thanks

Now the guy who called your 3bet in position, I guess you have some reads on him.. like if he a tight player or a looseplayer.. If I was playing at the same table as you, and I have a pocket pair or 8Ts+ TJs+ ATs+.. I might be loose, but I play loose in position. and I am calling with 22+ ( depends on how much you are sitting with of course).
anyways. If you make a cbet, at this crazy flop T4T and got called, I would understand it if a guy oop called you.. but a guy in position call you in a rainbow flop... he is not calling you with air. he has Tx or 44. I think it is best that you slowdown the action on the turn. your cbet on the flop was an informationbet, and you have already got an answer when he called you. He has a hand. and I find it like, if he called you on that flop, he is planing to call you all the way what the hand he has... What hands do you think he would pay you there with?
I dont see him calling a 3bet with A4s and herocalling flop>turn.... or 45s..
Remember noone else knows what you are holding but you. If you stop betting at the turn, (you check), a guy with a full house or Tx, wouldnt bet much to make you call. most players hope that the other player have AK or AQ ♦ , and the way to get value from AK or AQ is by betting small ♦, so if you checked to him, you were going to showdown much cheaper than if you continue you raising.
but i dont know I think too much... and I am maybe playing with scared money... But, I am beating NL5 with 22bb/100 ♦ shorthanded
