when out of position this is my tactic to extract value and lose minimum. cont bet, check turn, cal lriver

by far my favourite bit of this game is to get people bluffing trash when i have a strong hand. especially as regs know people at this limit cont bet way too much

plus as well i have released that fish love to set mine with 3 bets. so i find this tactic helps when im massively behind and and get maximum value when im ahead.

Haven't used HUD yet, i mean not from when i started in July again that is.

not really sure its that important tbh, until 25nl, the fields are so large your only going to have good stats on the 10% regs and i mark the good players anyway.

personally from my own experience anyone that plays 2nl 5nl, and 10nl, and is thinking about getting a software, play 100,000 hands first.

i only say this because i find learning through personal trial and error, is so much more important and grasping the key fundamentals will only build a great platform, for when you get extra information on your opponents, you can make a sound decision to help with those marginal spots.

my opinion anyway, by far no expert :).

Just over 3000 hands tonight, bit of a slog tbh, not sure i played really great. but just didnt get any cards on the flop and bluffs were getting called down to often. luckily brought it back towards the end to make $2 dollars profit.

On flop I would bet something like 0.65, and just shove to his raise.

On turn I would bet like 2/3 pot so I can shove any non-flush river.

•I'm not sure about donkbet and it's sizing, @ UTG pre flop raiser should have strong range + maybe he will bluff with OC vs 2xcheck (any stats on him?).
Most solid regs will raise/fold here so I like DBet/C more then DB/3Bet. And then X/Ship turn, sounds like good plan for me.
•Xback blank turn is weird, looks like bluff or weak player with no clue.
•River easy bet/fold, he can have hands like KQs and AK that will call. Bet is better then X/C cause we set our price for showdown. Ppl don't bluff @ NL5/10 on river like that, they always have it. I know that cause I call them like a fish ....

just feel that im getting 4 bet a lot and i know that this could be coincidence, but when it happens like ten times in a row i start to feel i should be shoving a lot wider, but when i do they have AA KK. funny how this game works as when your winning E.G my first 15,000 hands
you feel you have all the answers, and when it starts to go wrong i feel that everyone is crushing me and can see my whole cards.

Well 4BI it's not that much. Don't worry about EV line, it sucks. In my last 66k hands I'm 16BI over EV... fuck it.
I play NL5 zoom also (ofc made 2-3 shots on nl10, get crushed... cried like baby and back on NL5) and only few regs can 4bet light there. Mostly it will happen on late positions: BBvsSB; Blinds vs BTN. If U don't have a lot of hands on guy or some notes, just give them credit and fold. It's like 8/9bb, don't get paranoid and throw 100bb.

took a short break ove rthe weekend from poker, found myself getting so consumed by theory and betting lines and nothing going my way, just realised i was running bad.

So last two sessions went pretty well, plus i cashed in my bonuses so total bankroll up to £325. going to grind it up to £350 andthen two table nl10 with 5 buyins, the grind it up again if i go bust.

•With AJs, if U think he will float a lot here with strong OC and all PP U can X/Ship turn.
I know it sucks to fold when U put so much $ in pot, but overall the play wasn't so terrible. I agree that T Cbet should be bigger if U want him to fold PP here, ~2$ would be good I think.
