looser than nash shove pre bubble

The only reason for me to push here wider than Nash if both blinds are playing too tight on shoves. Based on the stats is that most likely not the case. So I fold here and wait for a better spot to push.

I would most likely shove if I was on the small blind but I'd rather fold there guys on the blinds know we are desperate for double up and will have a very wide range of hands.

Assuming villains would follow your table image is questionable. Also if they have played against you earlier they will see your overall stats if using hud. There is no reason to really make -EV shoves if blinds are not going to hit you soon with decent effect on your fold equity.

Without more stats I'm laying this down, I always keep Total Steal Attempts and Fold to steal/Blind defense stats in my HUD, they aren't as concrete in the nash phase as the previous phases but do present some raise-fold opportunities once you have a healthier stack which in turn sets up the narrative for a raise-call trap, against unknown opponents of course.

We're still far from desperate with 8.3BB and you have lots of potential positional exploits, even from the primitive stats we observe:

- The short-stack is to your left which widens your SBvBB shoving range. If you each win a round of blinds during the next orbit you also have enough headroom to set up some min raise plays.. as is there's no room for raise-fold obviously as you'd be priced in.

- Thinking outside the box, with enough information you could also 'flat-trap' bigger hands against the short-stack SBvBB given that we don't have enough headroom to min-raise. Call off his 3 bet shove or exploit his 9.0 Aggression Factor post-flop if he checks pre. This is almost never better than shoving of course without specific reads but something to consider if you're struggling for an edge.

- The player to your right is very tight-passive and marginally favourite to cash so you may get a few blinds folded around to you.

- The bigstack fits the profile of a guy who will present you with squeeze opportunities by limping/3x+ing and generally being oblivious to the dynamics of the bubble. How often do you see a rec loose-passive bigstack limping for 200 UTG then folding the buttons 800 shove? Even if you're uncomfortable squeezing you can take pots down if he limps on your BB as his AF is 0.9.

You're not as well off as if you had Player 5 to your left but there's still plenty of room to manoeuvre.
