Afternoon chaps (and chapettes),
So, I just came across one of those dastardly situations in which I just couldn't make my mind up between two, apparently, even choices. Let me into your poker brains and let me know what I should have done.
Situation is this: Small stakes (€1.50) S&G Heads Up game. We'd been clobbering away at each other for a good while, and at this point villain has just over 13 BBs left in his stack. (40/80 blinds). He is on the button, I'm out of position. I have Jd and 9s. He makes a min raise, and because he aggressive, and I don't want to have to call a shove with my hand pre-flop, I elect just to call instead of a 3-bet. Flop comes 7TK (all spades). I bet 1/2 pot, and villain calls. (In order to either get a fold, or keep him in with a wide range of hands). He calls, and the turn is Kh. I decide this doesn't change much, as I'm beat if he has any sort of hand anyway, and even if he does have a K, the flush I'm trying to get will beat his trips anyway. I bet out again, because I still have fairly good fold equity, and plenty of outs to hit. He then shoves on me.
So, at this point, should I be calling or folding, bearing in mind he has been quite aggressive?
