Your plan here?
I think 88 plays poorly post-flop mw (+ OOP). So I made a big iso raise.
Option a) check back = I think it's weak, vs weak ranges. Could hit a set, but no big pot guaranteed.
Option b) Iso raise. How big? I think we don't mind if everyone folds, still +EV.

OnGame - $1 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (BB): $124.15
UTG: $97.68 (VPIP: 23.91, PFR: 15.94, 3Bet Preflop: 5.61, Hands: 819)
CO: $65.00 (VPIP: 22.73, PFR: 6.82, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 45)
BTN: $118.06 (VPIP: 27.89, PFR: 22.72, 3Bet Preflop: 8.43, Hands: 755)
SB: $90.29 (VPIP: 60.99, PFR: 21.52, 3Bet Preflop: 6.36, Hands: 231)

SB posts SB $0.50, Hero posts BB $1.00, CO posts penalty blind $1.50

Pre Flop: (pot: $3.00) Hero has 8♦ 8♣

UTG calls $1.00, CO checks, fold, SB calls $0.50, Hero raises to $8.00, fold, fold, fold

Hero wins $4.50

Hey,

I like raising. It's very likely to go heads up or you take it down by just making it 5-6$, since SB's range is extremely weak. Imo, you have significant equity edge against utg's range, so i don't mind if he calls. I like the 8x raise better when you have 74s.
