PokerStars - $0.50 PL Hi (6 max) - Omaha Hi - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

CO: 100 BB (VPIP: 25.65, PFR: 13.54, 3Bet Preflop: 1.09, Hands: 700)
BTN: 100 BB (VPIP: 28.29, PFR: 18.89, 3Bet Preflop: 7.85, Hands: 1,075)
SB: 160.12 BB (VPIP: 71.64, PFR: 50.75, 3Bet Preflop: 13.79, Hands: 70)
Hero (BB): 100 BB
UTG: 110.98 BB (VPIP: 29.10, PFR: 21.31, 3Bet Preflop: 9.50, Hands: 1,841)

Villano is balintreal, 58 fold to cbet in 3bet pot.

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A♠ Q♥ A♥ 5♠

UTG raises to 3.5 BB, fold, BTN calls 3.5 BB, SB calls 3 BB, Hero raises to 17.5 BB, UTG calls 14 BB, BTN calls 14 BB, fold

Flop: (56 BB, 3 players) T♣ 6♥ 6♦
Hero bets 20 BB, UTG raises to 40 BB, fold, Hero ???

Something is fishy here. Why would he minraise a 6 on this board? It's such a cheap (risking 40 to win 76) and easy bluff which gets a ton of snapfolds by autopiloters. Sure there is a guy behind but I think that just makes the bluff more credible.

Spoiler

Hero raises to 82.5 BB and is all-in, fold
Hero wins 131 BB

However, if I think he is bluffing here I probably should have just called and given him the chance to donk off the rest on the turn?!

Close... I have too look in my database to get a better impression about villain. It's raw, but sometimes I see regs bluffing here. on the other side he knows that u knows so he could not expect u to fold AA etc. Some kind of level. If I have the feeling that he bluffs I see no merrit in raising. I would call and hope he follows his plan ott. I mean he schould not have many 6 in his range and most players like to call otf. Also TT makes no sense to raise here. Dunno would follow my instincts and if I think he is bluffing I would just call.

Hi,

what does a jam accomplish here? He is either bluffing or has a made hand. The only options are imo to either call or fold; the minraise is indeed scary here, and since it's 3way i would give him the benefit of the doubt.

The problem is that your hand is really very face up, and almost never hits this board, so if you think villain realizes that you probably can't fold this.

Regards,

Skod
