2 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, BTN folds, SB raises to $1.25, BB folds, Hero calls $0.50

Flop: ($2.75) 5 7 7 (2 players)
SB bets $2.63, Hero folds

This guy is pretty fishy so I probably can't fold here but we have to be wiling to call multiple streets I imagine. I don't think that should deter me from this call though

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: I think that vs fish like him we can play a bit more faceup and just let go of hands that we don't think we can make the showdown with. A big bet like this is usually followed by more so we either plan to take it all the way or fold now.

That's a good question.

But we should start looking at the preflop range.

What's the best we see the flop with? I can't see myself calling TT+ often here. Nor am I calling big broadways/Ax.

So then if we don't call 99 we call no pairs so draws + 7x is our range.

No, definitely not folding those broadways.

Calling them is best since they are the weaker big hands. AQ+, TT+ is my 4-bet here without additional info.
