I'm ready to post my first hand for evaluation, so I figured I'd best introduce myself first.

I'm an older guy living in California (can't go for the free money offers), and have been playing, off and on, online poker for 5-6 years. I have more time now and want to start climbing the stakes ladder. I play for money on Winning Poker Network (Americas Cardroom). I'm playing 2NL cash, 6-max and full ring, though I prefer 6-max. I'll be ecstatic if I can reach 25NL by the end of 2015. Also playing 5.50, 3.30, and 2.20 tournaments. I play a lot more tournament hours than cash, but want to even them out more or less. Gotta find some time for studying too! :)

I'm a Basic level member right now, but hoping to have the cash next month to become Silver.

See you all on the forums!

BTW, how do I post instead of creating a new thread? I don't see any option for that.

Hey OsoMeloso1,

Welcome to PokerStrategy.com :)

So nice to see an American here. We really wish more would come. I so look forward to the day when US players are again part of the mainstream poker world. Then I expect we will get flooded.

In fact, why don't you get yourself added to our Member map. You never know, the nearest PokerStrategist may live right next door, although as you'll see we don't have a great representation from the US so get in there.

If there is anything at all you would like to ask us, then please feel free to do so.

Have fun

Laz
