NL5 – AJs CO how to play it

Hi!

I am quite new to this site and this is my second hand posted here.
I need some help to improve my game and I would really like som advise of how to play this hand and how I can get some more value.
Should I have foulded the hand preflop or should I have reraised?
After the flop should I reraise or just call? was it right to reraise one the turn?
And was it right to just call on the river?

I guess AJs is good enough to call from CO, but I would 3bet or fold vs UTG raise in order to:
1) make him fold weaker hands that he opens with
2) Isolate him and avoid having a multiway pot

Flop - I would fold or RR - his bet is very very small, I always reraise these types of bets as they indicate weakness. At these stakes there are a few players that do this to induce raises though

Turn - your reraise should be to 9-10 BB, your reraise in this case is way too small. Think of it that way - would you only bet 3bb if you had the initiative on this turn? I think not

River - after the 3 1bb bets you have to be fairly certain that this person is a fish, you RR him for value

I am not the most trustworthy guy in here, but these are my thoughts on this Hope I helped

EDIT: Did not see it's FR, so 3bet or fold imo - you shouldn't ever call with AJs vs UTG in FR - it's too weak and will get ppl in BTN, SB, BB to try to squeeze

I will try to make a reraise next time, but you're probably right that this hand shouldn't be played at all when he made that raise from UTG.

Oh, I always thought that you should reraise 3 times what he bet, therefore I bet 3 BB, but your absolutely right if I had the initiative on the turn I would bet bigger.

Yes, that's true I should have noticed that he's a fish and reraised him.
