Well it was a bluff, yup I had J8, but there is a lot behind of this bluff, it rly hard for my opponent to contunie on this hand and he wouldn't limp 4x hands at all at this point so even if he Had 77-88 he would still fold.

You're either bluff-raising a hand like 35 hoping to take the pot or hit the straight or you have a made hand that you want to protect so, given the board, it has to be a pocket pair.

I'm working on the assumption that there are too many people in the pot to risk check-raising a draw and you would have raised nines or better pre-flop so I'm pinning my colours to 88.
