AT TPTK on flop after pre 3-bet

I usually draw the line for check-raising flop for value around middle pair top kicker. Your holding is too strong to check-call down and too weak to slowplay.

pcbeem - you say 6.7 3bet is high ? its sooooo freaking low even for his 17/13 stats. that guys a nit and a very bad one at that. even if its full ring. still bad as hell.

I don't see how this is a tricky spot. you did perfect. even if its a nit , I think its actually even better since he will fold so many more hands than he should be folding.

no mistake about checkraising the flop with TPTK. You have to think a bit in terms of your range. What hands you'd otherwise checkraise the flop with. There a some hands like all 89, maybe J9 and all your flushdraw combos so you are kinda well balanced and the more draws you'd justifyably checkraising as a semibluff, the lighter you have to design your valuerange. the more draws you checkraise, the more madehands you can add to guarantee a reasonable balance between madehands and draws.

To simply evaluate this hand i'd sign what yohan said. your hand is too weak for c/c c/r but too strong to just calldown. Your hand is actually ok to just c/c and c/r a good turn but keep in mind that you risk being freecarded by your opponent and most of the times he's calling again on a turnblank with a hand that he'd bethimself if you wouldnt have shown any aggression. So cc cr just gains you 0,5BB extra but with a decent portion of Ax that hes calling down but he could be checking back with on the turn, you are losing 1,5BB. So with no read about his turnbetting tendencies, you'd always favour flopcheckraising over cc cr!
