River: ($1.74) K :diamond: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.86, BTN raises to $11.15 and is all-in, Hero calls $3.63 and is all-in

Results: $10.72 pot ($0.10 rake)
Final Board: Kc 5s Jd 2d Kd
Hero showed 9d 8d and lost (-$5.27 net)
BTN showed Ks Js and won $10.62 ($5.35 net)

I raise 3x preflop with 98s. Both CO and BTN are unknown. On the flop i decided to cbet because many players at this limit calls preflop and folds to cbet. I know my cbet sizing was too small. On the turn we get flush draw and I tought that checking was better option than betting again. BTN bets small and I think that we have good implied odds. When we hit our flush I just bet small cause our turn play looked weak and I hope that BTN will try to bluff or raise w/ maybe some Kx or AJ. He goes all-in just as I wanted.

What do you think about this hand?

Hi la55i

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: I think you are just wasting money betting half pot with 2 ppl left to act behind especially when one is short.

Flop should be a check/fold.

As played you should bet the turn and bigger. Y ou bet small on the flop and want to put pressure on his range.

And ck/calling is pretty bad because you still have 9 high and end up just winning the pot when you hit, which is rare.

Kx on the river is not a bluff raise but a value raise. And I wouldn't expect bluff there but rather value. So once we hit the flush we are going with the hand.
