instead of my uploaded avatar , i see a coin , whats up with this??

Your avatar which you uploaded only shows up on your profile. That coin is your PokerStrategy status.

Kidzoltan is right, the image that you uploaded is only for your personal profile. In the forum, the avatar only displays your current status, there is no way to customize it.
At least that's the way it is for now. There will be a forum revamp in November, and one of the planned new features is that you will be able to upload your own avatar, so stay tuned.
