Should I give up here?

if you don't feel comfortable getting it in on the flop, then flat his flop 3bet.

3betting with the intention of folding would be pretty bad, especially if he can show up with worse (2pairs, 77, QT etc).

I would probably flat, and calldown on a blank runout, while folding River if the board brings a 4-straight. Probably call any turn unless he makes a huge overbet on a straight turn.
