WPN, $0.02/$0.05 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

Villain had already attempted to steal from the button (successfully) a couple of times, and seemed to me was going to be a LAG (positionally aware). Was this played OK?

Hero (SB): $5.14 (102.8 bb)
BB: $5 (100 bb)
UTG: $11.22 (224.4 bb)
MP: $5.57 (111.4 bb)
CO: $3.69 (73.8 bb)
BTN: $9.28 (185.6 bb) Hands 26/VPIP 31/PFR 27/AF 1.3/ATS 50 There were no stats on 3bet or fold to 3bet

Preflop: Hero is SB with A♣ J♦
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.15, Hero raises to $0.45, BB folds, BTN raises to $1.50, Hero calls $1.05

Flop: ($3.05) J♠ J♣ 7♠ (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $2, Hero raises to $3.64, BTN calls $1.64

No.

Either fold or move in depending on the range you put the villain on. Calling a 4-bet OOP should be a rare occurrence, and never do it with AJ. If you hit an A on the flop, are you happy?

Hey OsoMeloso1,

Preflop 3b is fine. Vs most opponents at this limit I recommend folding to 4bet until we have a bigger sample.

Flop play is fine.
