Hello!

IPoker, $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $10 (100 bb)
Hero (BB): $10.30 (103 bb)
UTG: $6.83 (68.3 bb)
MP: $13.59 (135.9 bb)
CO: $13.87 (138.7 bb)
BTN: $13.16 (131.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q Q
UTG raises to $0.20, 3 folds, SB calls $0.15, Hero raises to $1.10, UTG calls $0.90, SB folds

Flop: ($2.40) A 3 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.30, UTG calls $1.30

Turn: ($5) 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $2.50, Hero folds

UTG: 42/24/0/40/40 (VPIP/PFR/Ft3B/FtFlopCB/H)

Preflop: Standard squeeze for value, especially with the fish openning .

Flop: Pretty bad flop for my hand and not sure what would be the best move. If I bet, I know I would get many calls and I wont know where I am with my hand in a big pot oop. Check/folding seems to weak against this type of a player. Maybe check/calling? If I bet, should i plan to make him go all in on the turn, in which case I should bet a bit bigger on the flop?

Turn: Really not sure what to do there. I was hoping he would fold the flop, but now I think that, if I didn't plan to bet the turn, I shouldn't have bet the flop, either.

hi

check the flop, specially if you are going to bet flop and x/f turn.
why? when you bet and x/f turn, you're assuming that your cbet has isolated yourself against Ax. so why cbet?

so just check and keep his range wide, possibly intending to x/c our entire stack if he looks at least somewhat aggro. if he checks behind, we can bet turn/shove river for value.
if you cbet, then don't do it "hoping that he folds", do it for value under the assumption that he will call all underpairs and some floats (his range is wide and he doesn't like to fold after all). and under that assumption you shouldn't fold the turn, just x/c or shove yourself.
