After seeing the disgusting WSOP tax figures, I couldn't help but wonder what happens when a player is staked in a live poker event, like many of them probably are in WSOP Main, and has to pay taxes on their winnings.
If the $ winnings were never yours to begin with, surely it doesn't count as income anymore. In most cases this will then put the poker players share of themselves in a lower tax bracket since they are earning much less.
What happens also if the backers are all in different countries with different tax laws?
