I didn't want him to check back turn there but the action afterwards, i'm not sure. It seems tight to bet/fold river and I guessed single pair Ax hands were still in his range. Then calling river shove might be a bit thin though but doesn't make sense for value w/ a hand that's worse than ours.

Hi legand,

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: you can definitely raise here on the flop. You won't get a lot of respect and you can keep it small.

Single paired Ax don't really raise turn unless they are of clubs... but question is, why not 3-bet turn? or were you hoping to keep bluffs in? In which case you check river to him anyway.

i dont mind this line, by checking river u let him shove in missed draws but u could SO OTT anyway

3bet on the turn could be good there. I think because I didn't understand the line that I would just call and yeah we do keep his bluffs in. By 3betting are we expecting him to get stacks in with worse? I see some clubs

I can't see pure bluffs doing much on the river anyway... once we check.

So 3-betting gets us max value vs the hands that would check river back.

Do you think our line looks polarised on the turn? Or is it always value. Like it could be a hand that doesn't want him to check back turn but maybe some random bluff that. I'm not sure tbf

I wouldn't say it looks polarized... polarized means nuts or nothing and there's not a whole lot of nothing there for us (and we should be expect to have some Ax as well, which are not nutty).
