UTG raises to $0.70, 4 folds, Hero raises to $2.25, UTG calls $1.55

Flop: ($4.60) 9 4 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.15, UTG raises to $6, Hero calls $3.85

Turn: ($16.60) A (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $12.45, Hero calls $11.75 and is all-in

River: ($40.10) 2 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Called on the flop to keep his range wide. The A is tricky because he can just bluff it but maybe he can bluff flop w/ Ax to then smash turn when they hit top pair. I imagine his preflop range is strong Ax and pairs so this line only makes sense really if he bluffs pairs postflop. If not I guess we just x/c flop to then x/f turn

Hi legand,

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: Definitely don't like your play here. And the A is one of the worse cards you can actually see on the turn and folding there wouldn't be a huge mistake (unless you expect UTGs range to be wide for whatever reason).

On the flop just stack off with him, especially OOP.
