Hi there. Many times I have a hard time folding big hands. I'm not sure it was the right play here.

Poker Stars $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em - 9 players - View hand 2621196

fukahire7 (UTG+2): $1.79

TexasGun (MP2): $2.15
richs1982 (CO): $1.85
Hero (BTN): $1.27
1GoldyLordy1 (SB): $1.96
Alexd1691 (BB): $2.57
jimmymcck (UTG): $1.37
holydojiii (UTG+1): $2.48

Pre Flop: Hero is BTN with K K
5 folds, richs1982 calls $0.02, Hero raises to $0.08, 1GoldyLordy1 calls $0.07, Alexd1691 calls $0.06, richs1982 calls $0.06

River: ($2.04) Q :spade: (2 players)
Alexd1691 checks, richs1982 bets $1.09 all in, Alexd1691 folds

Final Pot: $2.04
richs1982 wins $1.91
(Rake: $0.13)
folds, 1GoldyLordy1 folds, Alexd1691 calls $0.50

River: ($2.04) Q :spade: (2 players)
Alexd1691 checks, richs1982 bets $1.09 all in, Alexd1691 folds

Final Pot: $2.04
richs1982 wins $1.91

All 3 villains are rather loose and passive. With such a wet flop and 3 players on the flop I decided just to call the donk bet and see the turn card instead of raising. Was that a mistake? When the turn card comes I just fold since it seems obvious that someone can have straight.

Regards

I don't play cash but I would bet something like 5-6bb pre flop after one limper.Btw I think You played it well on that flop, but like I said I don't play cash so I can be wrong.

Thanks Tojaczajka. You're right but I didn't want want to run the risk that everyone folded preflop. So I stuck to the standard raise. It obviously backfired though.

More comments will be very welcome guys.

Hi fersy,

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: first of all, why not play with a big stack? Second of all, you should raise the flop... otherwise you are just letting them draw out on you...

And third, as played it's a fold. Well done.
