How would you play this hand????

Hey guys and gals,
So I'm playing a €2 buy in €200 Guaranteed over on ipoker. It's late on in the tourney, blinds are 250/500/50.
I'm sat with 16,600 in chips in the cutoff with AQ of diamonds. Villain is UTG with 20,350 and min raises to 1000. I've noticed that this guy steal shoves all in on the button and SB pretty often and I've seen him raise 2.5bb's and cbet on three occasions with no showdown. That's all the info I have.

So I'm just wondering what you guys would do in this situation?

I will get some answers and then share what I did (which I definitely think was very wrong lol)

call pre with AQs vs UTG MR, play IP post (if BU folds ofc)

Me, I'd call 1000 and see what cards come out if nothing and he raises then I'd have to fold

I never considered the call as I didn't want to give others behind me good odds to call.
What I did was I 3bet to 2500, which I think it should have been 3k but I think 2.5k was ok. I did plan on folding to a 4bet shove but he 4bet to 6k. Thinking back this probably showed more strength than the shove because he's open shoved before on a few occasions.
I called his four bet (which I know was bad but couldn't help it :f_mad: ) I missed the flop, he bet, I folded.
So I think the 4bet call was the mistake I made. I believe before and after that was fine. Does anybody agree or disagree?

whats his range utg utg? how does proceed AQ vs different ranges there? whats his 4b range? whats his 4shove and whats his 4b call range?
get all that and figure out that you most likely should flat AQ there
