.If the SB folds 80% and the BB folds 70%, then together they are folding .8 * .75 = 60%

above quote taken off the internet I dont understand their calculation unless its a typo
what is the correct answer ?
is it as simple as percentage A x pecentage B

0.8 * 0.7 = 0.56
0.56 is the same as saying 56%

The theory you presented above is correct but there is a slight mistake in your example as BB folding 70% is evidently represented by 0.7 not 0.75 (that would be 75%.)
