Hey guys i have one question. Most of my volume comes from the speed 6max on Ipoker, so i caught myself that i am folding from the SB above 70% vs BTN opener, doe i don't loose particulary much from the SB something like -18bb/100, i am wondering how can we in best way construct 3bet range when we don't have as much stats on vilain. Supposed that we should 3bet 1/3-1/4 his opening range, and adjust value/bluff ratio due his fold23bet stat. Do u 3bet only merged range, or you are polarized even with lack of stats?

Is your SB vs BU winrate -18bb/100?

I would start with 3betting tight, then adjust when we have a good sample.

Nope, total sb bb/100. Yeah i am doing same thing, using linear range with low sample.

If you don't have much or any calling range from the SB your going to have a very high fold SB to BTN RFI stat. This is fine. Even if you do have a calling range, it's going to be fine. The BB has to share the defending.

No calling range and 3b a linear 1/3 of his opening range sounds fine to me. Even going as high as 40% would be fine imo.

40% 3b or combined 3b and call? Against which openrange?

if BTN opens 51%, you 3bet 17% linear range
If he opens 60%, you 3b 20% linear range

this seems like the easiest way to go. It's alright if you have a fold to steal of 75% from the SB. -18bb/100 is a reasonable winrate from the SB.

since you are bronze, I would assume that the average guy in your games is opening ~40%. Which means you should 3b ~13%.

I wouldn't interpret anything into the forum status, I usually don't play tracked ;)
There are lots of bronze users in this forum who grind between 100 to HS.

yeah i meant just 3b. Was assuming zero call range. with a call range it would need to be a little wider.

And against any Raise First In range. Like mbml demonstrated

Oh now I get it, I misread your post. You meant 40% of the openrange ;)
Yeah, 30-40% is a good estimate.

For a complete guide on 3 bet ranges check out the series "W34z3l's 6-max Walkthrough" . His thread also contains all the ranges for CC, RFI, 3bet by position
https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=309916#sthash.yg5vORnB.dpuf. I believe most of the ranges are for unknown players.
