AQ all in pre flop vs short stack

Am I correct to get the money in pre flop in this situation?

UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.15, CO raises to $0.45, 3 folds, Hero raises to $1.85, CO calls $1.13

We open from mp so I think villain 3bets only with AQ+. I'm not familiar with the short stack strategy but with 100bb stack I might just call here.

I'd expect most short stacks everywhere on micros to play very tight until proven otherwise. In my experience, against an average/unknown short stack you should respect their 3-bets a lot. You have almost no fold equity because he's short and, as you said yourself, he probably 3-bets AQ+, so his range here is much stronger than your AQs. I'm not sure calling is that great either, but it seems better than shoving. I'm very much interested in what our Judges will say.

Hi flopraiser,

Definitely short players can stack off lighter in general.

And premium hands like AQs, AK, TT+ are definitely more than fine to stack off even from these positions so I'd play the same.
