NL50 Zoom SH - KK overpair vs aggression

he can potentially bluff 44,55, fd, but I am not sure if he would at these positions even have those. it is also question if he would have any set in his range. so I can conclude that he is fish or fishy at least, since if he would be reg, 100bb deep he wouldnt have 22-77 in his range, so he woudnt raise anything on turn since he has 0% strong hands in range. Thats why I would call, and expect to see some draws, and some overplayed overpairs like TT-QQ. So imo easy call.

Would it be wise to exclude 77-22 against mostly unknown? I see alot of players who like to setmine, especially when they are IP. I'm expecting alot of sets when i call to be honest, if he wouldn't have those in his range it's an easy call i agree.

You dont need to completely exclude, but you can say, e.g. villian calls 33% combos of 22-77 preflop, 100% combos calls TT, JJ, AQ and so on. So with that information, when I am unsure what to play (as you are obviously since you post in forum), then I would be more inclined to call in this spot, simply because I would discard many sets here preflop, and you also discard some sets on flop because villian might raise sets on flop.

Keep in mind that villain can easily have JJ-QQ and even the other KK in these spots and wait for a safe turn to ship his money in. That's on top of the ocassional draws that he will show up with.

And most small pairs generally fold preflop vs a larger 3-bet from OOp (costs a lot more to set mine),.
