This guy is pretty loose passive pre but obv we can't necessarily generalise that to his postflop tendencies but against fish I do generally assume they'll be playing back more often than I would want. Normally I would happily cbet flop planning on barrelling most turn cards to get him off his pps but against this guy I don't think this would be +EV. Nevertheless I think that if I cbet flop I probably should be betting that turn there. If I don't cbet that flop what would be an alternative option. x/folding is always an option but can I do anything else?

Hi Legand,

That turn card is not particularly great so you can check and let him bet his floats, which he should have plenty of.

I also think that cbetting the flop is fine, you have the best hand often and you can get value from him. Plus our equity is decent.
