Hey, vill is reg, looks average after 5k hands, although on turn he x/r 0/20 and on flop 8/90, he has high w$ and wwsf, but he won a lot on this sample.

So on flop I bet for protection/bluff/value, quite unusal spot, where I think he folds about 1/2 of his range and still I have 50% equity with A5high.
What do you think about cb 100% and tripling here as an exploit 100% of time (unless we have 3 or something like that) when turn is like 8+ and river is not 2/3/4/5/turned card?
I mean against not too good of a players as they mostly are on nl100/200 who probably wont notice that Im going crazy on low flops.

As played on turn I dont see him x/r with quads cause he doesnt need to protect and I guess he wouldnt like to deny me from bluffing or hitting something on the river. Maybe he has A4 or 46s, but I block A4 and 46s is not standard call pre on nl100.
So I called and river is probably blank except ther is less A4 (but he might be more temted to bluff this card), so after assigning him range which almost doesnt include value I decided to call and quick look at his stats didnt change my decision, cause sample might be too small especially for this kind of boards.

I would also exploitatevely 3 barrel all bluffs, likely even overbet bluff river.

River i think he might value bet Ax hands, so you can make a call

Hi,

pre flop good.

Flop is one that we should be betting 100% yes, and I'd bet big, close to pot size. Your sizing is a mistake because it let's villain profitably call with a lot of overcards. And if you bet this sizing you open yourself to getting owned when you triple J or Q turn, because he should have a lot more of those than you think, given your sizing on the flop.

I like the way you playes turn and river.

Also, post general stats like VPIP/PFR, they give a lot of context to the remaining ones.

what about overbet flop 1.5x? I think that board even though it has no real draws, it can be considered very draw heavy, since every overcard has a lot of equity. i agree that betting smaller than pot is mistake, especially when OOP, since villian overcards have a lot of equity especially since we are so bluff heavy. So if we overbet this spot he has so bad pot odds that he has to super big problem defending enough hands, and will likely make exploitable folds? he has big trouble calling even 77, and our bluffs still have nice equity.

do we have some other spots where overbet would be best move? like draw heavy board, overbet some strong hands and e.g. nut bdfd and some low GS (good to block nut fd which calls/raises anyway). because if we are oop, villian has many good draws that can call +EV

We are not OOP here.

Yes, it makes a lot of sense to overbet this flop, even more so SB v BB. I usually don't do it (rare flops anyway) but it makes a ton of sense. And that concept of draw heavy board because of overs is very important.

Not seeing a good spot for a draw heavy board. Unless maybe on turns, like QJTssX. Very nice to potbet or even overbet some hands.

One more similar question. What if villian is folding too rare vs cbets on flop. Does it make sense to overbet vs him, and increase size until he starts overfolding or playing unexploitable?
imo, if somebody calls too much as fish, then we should have max ev by betting huge. This way we can find a leak in his game, where we can play our bluffs +EV, and value +EV. In that case, we could be bluff heavy betting huge (if he overfolds vs huge bets).

Similarly, if villian folds too much, we could find minimum bet size, such that he still overfolds (I mean to find a bet size which makes bluff EV max)? I think it is possible to create leaks even vs best players this way who try to defend unexploitable, because sometimes it is simply not possible to defend enough hands +EV and be unexploitable, due to bad pot odds or not having enough good equity hands.

I see what you mean, and it makes sense of course. But instead of trying to find out the "sweet spot" for different players I think we should just go to a full exploit, like vs a player that folds too little, maybe we should just value bet huge with good hands, x/f our most marginal hands and maybe bet smaller with hands that turn out to be almost value bets against a wide range.

Something like on As Jc 8c 3s, to bet flop and turn IP 8d9d and check river, since we win nice % of time, and have FE?

That looks way too optimistic. I'd go for maybe a J2, maybe K8, but even that looks ambitious, even with small sizing, even against a player that calls too much.

Hi, I didnt mean that 89s will be a thin value bet, but semi bluff, having 5 outs and winning sometimes at showdown (I meant this only vs people that call too much, so that will call all GS 2 streets).

Are you cbeting this turn as value or bluff? Since I didn't see much value on cbting your TPTK in this spot (I can't see worst hands calling), and 5 is a pretty bad card to barrel as bluff.

I can't see anything of value that villains call flop that won't call this turn, except hands that you are already winning of. If you're playing ur entire range aggro like that (crazy 3 barreling small boards ) your cbets stats (f/t/r) will be too obvious to any good villain explore you.

I would rather call it max EV 3barreling entire bluff range than "crazy 3 barreling". Because if someone 3barrels entire bluff range, then it is likely because he thinks it is max EV.
Also low boards occure so rarely that it will not effect your average stats almost at all, unless someone uses board categories stats, for which is needed tone of samples.

on turn I would rather cc down this hand, because villian will have a lot of floats on this board, and if he checks back Ax, thats ok, he is drawing dead with 3 outs, and has 3 clean.

if I would bet turn, then I would make it larger (since it is bluff, no value in a bet), and then bet big river.
